Neighbor Nijolė, the first to passionately support the idea, suggested painting a portrait of her aunt from an old photograph taken in 1936. The aunt used to dress in elegant clothes but was very strict. Nijolė remembered not only the desire to dress up but also the fear she experienced toward her aunt, so I decided to commemorate her memory.
